Today has been, and will continue to be, perfect.
Nothing like a little Radiohead to brighten up my morning. Album of choice- "In the Rainbows" of course. Bin is humming along like a weirdo as we drive to Norfolk. We are dropping off his last paper and then we will both officially be on Christmas break!
We are stopping in Ghent to get lunch, and then the real fun begins.
The rest of our day will be dedicated to The Fellowship of the Ring and triple chocolate mouse cake! This is seriously the dessert to end all desserts, and I am scared and excited to make it. It could either turn out horribly or wonderfully.
Let the adventures proceed!

Blogs are Elegant
May I begin by saying that I am a bit wary about starting my own blog. Not because there is anything wrong with blogging in general, but because often blogs are plagued with either far-too-personal life situations (I can almost guarantee that a specific instance just popped into your mind) or far-too-lofty recipes or ideas that everyone would love to try, but simply does not have the time or means.
For these reasons, I here by do solemnly swear to leave out all things overly-personal and to include only the simplest and most affordable recipes and do it yourself projects. This blog is a way for me to remember to add little touches of elegance to my everyday life, and hopefully to inspire you to do the same.
Here is the thing about elegance,
You do not have to be rich to be elegant.
You do not have to be old to be elegant.
You do not need to have designer clothing or handbags to be elegant.
You do not have to know everything to be elegant.
At least, that is what I keep telling myself.
